Pacific Home’s StyleIn, the monthly, hands-on demonstrations of home styling, presents “Color Your World” with designer, Jamie Jackson of BooBam Design. Ms. Jackson will explain how to combine colors for your indoor/outdoor living spaces, emphasizing fabrics and furniture that work with our Island lifestyles – lifestyles that include keiki, geckos, sun and suntan lotion, and all that moisture and salt in the air!

Jamie Jackson, owner and founder of BooBam Design, is currently immersed in a project on the North Shore of Kauai where she has been solving the unique problems of design for indoor/outdoor living in our Islands. A former professional actor and a conceptual found-object artist with an award-winning SoHo (NYC) restaurant in her portfolio, Jamie says, “I love all the new indoor/outdoor fabrics and love to work with the full color spectrum. Remember that outdoor colors are with us constantly and need to be part of our color scheme, but we should not duplicate them inside.”
Pacific Home offers stylish home furnishings and accessories inspired by the unique flair of the Pacific Islands. Pacific Home is the one-year old concept of two Hawaii women entrepreneurs, Aubrey Morgan-Yee and Jennifer Johnson. These innovative women have created a design-driven environment for local clientele that combines the strengths of quality, imported, exotic merchandise with the newest, sharpest trends in home furnishings offered by top U.S. brands. Pacific Home is open Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. - 7 p.m.; and Sundays 11 a.m. – 5 p.m.
