SytleIn at Pacific Home - "Tropical Living Today"
Pacific Home’s StyleIn, the monthly, hands-on demonstration of home styling, presents “Tropical Living Today” with Ursula Gehrmann of South Pacific Design Group.
In this StyleIn, you will learn about appropriate furnishings and finishes that maintain but enhance our Island style – utilizing tropical motifs when creating open living areas and creating the illusion of larger spaces within smaller spaces. See how to work with colors, not just for accents, but as an important role in tropical living.South Pacific Design Group, a design and building firm in Haleiwa (southpacificdesigngroup.com), specializes in the fusion of the Hawaiian Islands with the Orient in both architectural and interior design projects.
Ursula Gehrmann explains, “Tropical living is a way to tie into our own unique Hawaiiana style – a style that blurs the lines between interior and exterior living. This is done by bringing the outside in and the inside out – just by taking advantage of our fabulous environment that is so unique to living in Hawaii.”
Pacific Home offers stylish home furnishings and accessories inspired by the unique flair of the Pacific Islands. Now in its second year, Pacific Home is led by three Hawaii women entrepreneurs, Aubrey Morgan-Yee, Jennifer Johnson, and Jamie Jackson. The design-driven environment for local clientele, combines the strengths of quality, imported, exotic merchandise with the newest, sharpest trends in U.S. brands of home furnishings. Pacific Home is open Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. - 6 p.m.; and Sundays 11 a.m. – 5 p.m.
