Mitchell Gold & Bob Williams Upholstery

Seat Cushions:  Wrapped in 80% regenerated fibers. Ozone friendly and non-carcinogenic, they are composed of up to 10% soy which is an all-natural and renewable resource.

Back/Arm Padding:  The earth friendly foam padding is produced with a soy based biomaterial.

Frames:  The wood used in the upholstery frames is sourced from domestic suppliers who are dedicated to responsible forest management. The glue used in construction is water-based and biodegradable. The metal springs and other mechanisms are made from 65% recycled metal.

Back Pillows:  All of the back pillows are partially composed of recycled fibers that were once plastic bottles.

Fabrics:  You can choose from eco-friendly fabrics made of natural fibers such as cotton, linen, mohair and hemp.

Packaging:  The cardboard cartons used are made from recycled materials and are 100% recyclable.

Wood Furniture

Wood furniture marked with the eco-friendly symbol are made from reclaimed woods or wood harvested in a sustainable manner. Reclaimed woods come from old homes, railroad tracks and other interesting sources. Wherever possible, low VOC paints and stains are also used.

Rattan and Bamboo

Rattan and bamboo are both fast growing grasses and thus by nature sustainable.

Refurbished Furnishings

What could be more green than an old thing made new again! Our refurbished furnishings and accent pieces come from all over the world. While not verified antiques, they are truly old and have been refurbished in such a way that maintains their original aesthetic appeal. These one of a kind pieces are truly a treasure.

Many of our bed and bath lines are made from Organic cotton or Bamboo fibers both eco-friendly resources.
