Pacific Home “Fifty Fastest” Growing Businesses

(Honolulu, Hawaii)….Pacific Home, a home furnishings store in Honolulu, has been awarded second place in “Ho‘oulu – Hawaii’s Fastest 50 – celebrating the speed of small business.” Pacific Home now has the honor of being one of the fifty fastest-growing small businesses in Hawaii. The company, which has been in business since 2004, has shown that they have more than tripled in growth over the past three years. Between From 2004 to 2006, Pacific Home’s revenue growth was 1,086.45%.

“We certainly didn’t expect to win – let alone be the second fastest-growing company in the state,” exclaimed Jennifer Johnson, one of the three owners of Pacific Home.

To qualify for the awards, companies must have been in business for at least three years as of January 1, 2007. In addition, each company must have revenues of more than $100,000 but less than $10 million in each of the last three years; and be an independent, privately owned corporation, sole proprietorship, or partnership based in Hawaii.

Jennifer Johnson along with founding partner Aubrey Morgan Yee, opened their flagship store in an upper Kakaako location. Since then, Pacific Home has expanded both their physical operations and staff. Jamie Jackson came on board in 2006 as a third partner and now leads Pacific Home Studio, a new area where customers who want help in the art of designing their own homes have access to a full-service interior designer. The store also relocated to Ward Avenue in Honolulu, more than quadrupling their floor space.
